TUITION FEE: $180 flat rate/month

-This is a tuition-based program, not a fee-per-lesson program. Tuition is pro-rated over the course of the entire year.

-Therefore, you are not charged more for months that may have 5 private lessons per month and neither are you charged less for months with fewer private lessons.

-The Tuition Fee also includes a weekly online group lesson. Group lessons are an very important part of the Suzuki Education philosophy.

-Students enjoy sharing music with each other and playing together.

-The beginning students learn quickly by listening to and observing the more advanced students.

-In turn, the advanced student have the opportunity to be leaders and good examples for the beginners.

-Upon enrollment, the amount listed above will be your tuition fee. It will remain in effect, without increase, as long as you are enrolled in the program without interruption.

-However, if you stop for a month or more, then decide to re-enroll sometime in the future, you will restart at the current tuition fee listed at the time of your re-enrollment.

-Tuition payments are invoiced by email on the first of the month, in advance, and are due upon receipt.

-A $20 late fee will be added to your bill if not paid by the 10th of the month.

-If a student joins the program in the middle of a month, the tuition will be prorated accordingly.

-Enrollment is ongoing. The program is designed to allow students to join at any time.

-All fees are non-refundable.

-If a student misses a lesson, there are NO make-up lessons offered.

-If the teacher misses a lesson, there WILL be a make-up lesson offered at a time convenient for both student and teacher.

-If a student withdraws from the program, it must done so IN WRITING 30 days prior to the 1st day of the following month (i.e. if withdrawal is to be scheduled for March 1, then the withdrawal notice must be given by February 1).

-The program works best when a parent attends their child's lesson. The teacher, using the Suzuki Philosophy of Education, guides the parent to be the teacher at home. Parent and child together will learn about the violin and how to play it together.

-Parents can do the following to help their child prepare for practice time and lessons:
  1. arrange a quiet place to work together and have their online lessons.
  2. secure the correct size violin and bow outfit
  3. purchase the appropriate Suzuki Violin School Volume music book
  4. have a physical notebook and pen OR digital note app to record what you are asked to do for the coming week.

  • The Tuition Rate and Payment Schedule Policy and will abide by it.
  • The Attendance Policy and that the program is most effective when the parent attends their child's lesson and develops a a good working relationship with them.
